Peacefully on September 11, 2008, at home in Victoria. Born in Victoria, BC on April 29, 1925; daughter of Joshua and Ethel Marshall. Predeceased by her parents; her brother, Albert (RCN 1942) and her husband, Captain Leonard Walsh. Muriel is survived by her daughter, Linda; sons, Michael (Janice), Larry and five grandchildren, Katie, Matt, Mandy, Derek and Clinton. A WWII Champion Riveter, avid traveller, beloved grandmother and lifelong friend to Betty Doherty and Iris McKay. She will be missed and loved by all.
