VIVIENNE SMITH Deepest sympathy to you all. I can only imagine how much you miss dear Nora. She was a very special person, so giving to others in need, so strong and determined when challenged with unfairness, so caring – and fun to be with!
Nora made me welcome when I joined the ‘group’ at Ministry for Children and Families. We worked together for many years and our friendship continued after we both retired. She made the days so much brighter (for co-workers like me, and the children/families we worked for). Truly she made a positive difference to this world and I’m honored to have known her. Her goodness and caring will remain in my heart always.
Many thanks to you, Nora’s family, for being so generous keeping us in touch and looking after her at her time of need.

Darlene Southwell I knew Nora had been at St. Ann’s but I first knew her working at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Medical Records. Over the years we’ve kept in touch but I especially remember what a good & faithful friend she was to my brother Wayne in his final years. A friendship he treasured. Rest in peace Nora.

Sister Marie Zarowny, SSA Nora and I became friends at Notre Dame College in 1958-59 and she and another classmate influenced my decision to become a Sister of St Ann by telling me how much fun their former teachers had! I will be forever grateful to Nora for those comments! My deepest, prayerful sympathy to all of you.

Florence kubinec The thought of sending condolences to you all is unreal at the present. Your Mom and I have been buddies since 1968 at Norte Dame in Nelson. It does not seem that long esp. in the last few years with emails. I often wondered how our daily contact increased our hopes and dreams but on reflecting I think the good Lord kept us on track.
I will miss her greatly as I am sure you will.
Know that I treasured her friendship and caring
She is at peace and in the company of the angels.
Will keep you all in my prayers. God bless
Sincere sympathy to Nora’s Family and friends. With love, Julie.
