Joan McKinty I extend my sincere condolences to all of the Scott family. Nanci and I were inseparable when we were growing up and Ollie played a major role in many of our adventures (good and bad). Later, when I became an adult the connection recurred when our paths continually crossed at the bowling alley and bingo hall. And most recently, I was fortunate enough to re-connect with Ollie at Ross Place where I serve as a volunteer.
My respect for her grew as I saw how she interacted with her adult children and grandchildren, and particularly how she maintained a bond with Nanci’s husband Art. She spoke highly of Art and was pleased that he was able to find someone to share the rest of his life with. She wanted only happiness for all of her family, and I am proud to have known her.

Dear Roy,Bette, Sharon and Don:
I was so sorry to hear of Aunty Ollie’s passing. I won’t be able to attend the service as Harvey and I are living in Courtenay now. You know I have such fond memories of Aunty Ollie and of course Uncle Fred. My thoughts are with all of you; I know how very hard this is on everyone. Please know that I will always have a very special place in my heart for both your parents. I’ll be thinking of you. Please drop me a line when you feel up to it.
Love to you all,
Shirley
