    Hi Jody and Stan,

My mom, Bunny Sandman, and I want you to know how much we loved Oma and enjoyed her company as my mom’s next door neighbour for 30 plus years. Oma and Peter were such a support to mom when she lost my dad shortly before moving into Spencer Castle in the late 70’s. Although Mom had a great fear of water, they convinced her to enjoy their boat with them and they had many happy times together.
In their later years, when health issues started to arise for both of them, Oma and my mom kept their doors open so they could “pop” back and forth throughout the day to keep an eye on each other. Oma was a lady of so many talents – painting, gardening – and of course fashion. She always looked like she was dressed for company!
Bunny and I send our deepest sympathies on the loss of a wonderful lady – she was a unique spirit with strong convictions, and a caring heart.

    Most sincerely,
    Judy Dallin and Bunny Sandman

    To Stan, Jody and families,
Dave and I wanted to express our sympathies to you on Oma’s passing. She was quite a “character” in our building. We loved the way she always spoke her mind.

Oma loved to tend the garden in our foyer. And she was very proud of her accomplishments as an artist. Visiting her was never dull; usually quite interesting.

She always spoke highly of her family. Oma will be missed.

    Judy and Dave Ward
