Peacefully, our great lady passed on the evening of September 27, 2019. Angela was born in Trinidad and came to Canada with her young family 52 years ago. Her spirit lives on in her children, Pamela, Terry and Edward; her grandchildren, Taylor, Simone, Lauren, Ashley, Maya and Tyson; siblings, Victor, Peter, Elsa, Catherine, Harvey, Winston, Trevor, Margaret, Hilton (deceased), Monica (deceased) and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A Service for Angela will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens (Royal Oak), 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC followed by interment at Royal Oak Burial Park.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Victoria Hospital Foundations https://www.victoriahf.ca and the Cancer DriveLine Society (Victoria) https://www.cancerdriveline.ca.

To my beloved Rev Angela Sylvan the news of your passing made me sad, but i’m reminded weeping may endure for the night but joy cometh in the morning,you have run the race and forth the fight and i know a crown is laid up for thee in our heavenly home. Jesus had said i go but i will come again to receive you unto himself and now you’re in his loving hands. i thank the god God of heaven for the time you have spent here on earth and had an opportunity to worship with you these memories i will ever cherish, my condolences to family and friends keep well the road. The initial shock is over.My sister, pastor Angela May Sylvan, Teacher, mother, Minister, aunt, Grandmother, sister-in-law and God mother to my youngest child has left us.I heard that it is for a better place. Heartfelt condolences to her three children, grand children, siblings and other immediate family.Rest assured, you love her, but God loves her more. Hold on to the precious memories she left with you. Hope they will be comforting. A true soldier, one who devoted many many years to the service of the lord, through ministry and counselling. To say she will be missed is an understatement.
