Condolence to Milo, whom I met in Costa Rica when he was doing missionary work, then met the love of his life and sailed to New Zealand to start his family. I only met Pat once, but knew where Milo got his amazing laugh and kindness from.

My condolences to the Coldren family. I last saw Pat at my mother’s funeral (Sandra Rothwell nee Theaker) in 2006. My mother and her sister Barbara spent time in their youth with Pat and Mary. Sincerely Nancy Rothwell

What an incredibly kind, supportive, thoughtful and remarkable woman! So very sorry that you all have to go through this huge loss, Tricia, Heather, Kathryn and Chip. We thoroughly enjoyed the family visits with the Winnie to Burlington over the years. Remembering babysitting all of you. Pat always tried to visit my mother Freida and myself when in Burlington. Growing up and well into my adulthood she never missed a birthday, Christmas or special occasions. Loved visiting with you all in B.C. and being served Wild Pacific Salmon around your dining room table. Pat, as my Godmother had a positive impact on my life in a non judgmental and supportive way injected with her sense of humor and tremendous infectious smile. I will always be grateful and truly appreciative to have had her be part of my life.
“What we once enjoyed and deeply loved, we can never lose for all that we loved deeply, become a part of us”. quote from Helen Keller

Being in Aunt Pat’s presence was always a gift –her smile, humor and sense of joy. It was a wonderful gift to be able to join in for Aunt Pat’s church service today, It was a beautiful service with an outpouring of love. So special to see our cousins Tricia, Heather, Chip and Kathryn and families. The webcast made me feel like I was in the pew — all the way from the state of Maine. Remarkable. Aunt Pat is a remarkable soul. We will always remember and pray for her.

She was an amazing Aunt! I loved being with her when we were able. She would remember you on your birthday/anniversary. I loved getting her phone calls and catching up.
To my dear cousins, we send you our love and prayers. We wish distance did not keep us apart. We love you all so very much! So many great memories with your family. Love, Sonja and Wesley and family.

Pat and Mike were the first to welcome Adele and I to take on work with IVCF here in Victoria in 1967, a job which Mike had formerly done. The two of them were a team and our family enjoyed many a visit and lovely care, generosity and genuine love. Thanks be to God for lives well lived. Garry
