Patricia Denby

February 6, 1940 – June 1, 2010

Passed away peacefully at home in Victoria on the morning of June 1, 2010 with her husband Peter and daughters, Rachel and Rebecca by her side. Cremation will take place on Thursday, June 3rd at 9:00 a.m. in the presence of her immediate family. Whilst this is happening, please take a few moments to think about Pat.

In lieu of flowers or donations, we request that sometime in the next few months that you perform an act of random kindness. Such an act is the essence of Pat’s character and beliefs. We feel blessed to have so many good friends in Victoria and around the globe and would like to thank them for all the love and support they have shown our family. A special thank-you to Dr. Catherine Fitzgerald, Dr. Karen Campbell, the staff of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Palliative/Hospice Team for their kind care and support.
“Your positive and inspirational spirit will live on in all the lives you have so deeply touched.”

  3. Dear Rachel, Rebecca and Mr. Denby…
I was so saddened to hear the news of Mrs. Denby passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rachel , your mother was such a kind soul. I remember her when I would sleep over and and she would be telling us to get moving in the morning and not to waste the day(I`m sure it was already past 10:00 am)! Always cleaning the house on Saturday mornings…and always on the go. I am happy to know she is at peace and comfort now, looking down on your family . Thinking of you three and your families at this time. Love Yves, Laura, Kyleigh and Kevin Lapierre
