Pat was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, in 1941. He left peacefully for Heaven on July 21, 2026, in Saanichton, British Columbia, at the age of 85.

Pat is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 60 years, Dianne; his daughter, Marie (Stacey) and granddaughter, Keira; daughter, Andrea; his son, Jon (Carolyn); his sister, Joan; and relatives in the United States and Italy. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandra (Sandy) and twin sister, Patricia (Tish).

Throughout his career, Pat proved to be a dedicated and respected public servant and was employed primarily in corrections by both the federal and provincial governments. Beyond his work, Pat’s greatest joy was farming, and he was particularly passionate about cultivating his certified organic garlic. Pat also embraced life’s adventures, enjoying fishing charters, hunting excursions, cruises, and travel around the world.

Pat will be deeply missed by his Indigenous family, his friends from St. Louis College, his church family, and “The Coffee Guys.”

A private remembrance was held to celebrate Pat’s life – a life well lived, marked by his unwavering faith, strong work ethic, and lifelong service to others.
