To Peggy’s husband, children & grandchildren, to Peggy’s siblings, Francine, John & Richard’s spouses & families, I offer my deepest condolences.
Many years ago, our family were neighbours of the deBoer family in Dawson Creek before they moved to Victoria. Many fond memories of way back when.
So sorry to hear of Peggy’s passing.
Keep your memories close to your heart.
You are in my thoughts & prayers!

Rod & Family – Jonathan & I are so very sorry to hear about Peggy. I worked with Peggy for over a decade & appreciated her leadership, mentorship & support. In retirement, we enjoyed visiting at Elk Falls Provincial Park & talking RV travels. A wonderful person who will be very missed.
We were so saddened to hear of Peggy’s illness and passing. Rod, Spencer and Owen you are in our thoughts and we send sincere condolences. Peggy always had a big heart and we’ll never forget the times our families spent together when we arrived in Victoria. Over the years Peggy and I often shared stories as our families grew up and I know how proud she was of you, Spencer and Owen. Sending our love at this difficult time. Jeannette, John, Jemma, Tom and Lilly
We are so sad.
Our condoleances.
Love Henk and Tineke.
We are very sorry to hear of Peggy’s death. Condolences to you and your family on this terrible loss.
Dear Rod, we are heartbroken that Peggy has passed away. We remember the fun we had when Joel and I would join you and Peggy at Butchart Gardens to wander through the beautiful Christmas decorations. And Joel and I also had the pleasure of working with Peggy at different times at Service BC, and we have many fond memories of her laugh, her sense of humour, and her kindness to both of us. Joel and I are holding you and your family in our hearts.
My friend I miss you every day. I go to talk to you every day.
Condolences to the Duncan and Debor families.
Dear Rod and family,
I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend Peggy’s Celebration of Life.
She will be missed.
My thoughts are with you.
Condolences,
Maryanne
I’m so sorry to hear of Peggy’s passing. We had some laughs, oh my! We worked together for a few years at 4000 Seymour, during a period of intense change in government (and for all of BC, at the beginning of the BC Services Card). We worked hard and connected philosophically at work, and outside work we had lunches and outings where we sometimes made a bit of a stir with our high spirits and laughter. Our paths diverged after 2014 but I always missed her and will never forget her. My sincere condolences to the family.

The world lost a shining light. Peggy was known for her positivity, kindness, and genuine interest in people. Peggy was my first supervisor when I entered the Provincial government. She taught me so much about leadership; specifically that it can come from a place of compassion, kindness, and authenticity. Those lessons served me well in my own career and I still hold those values as important to me. Peggy was a mentor to me but even more important she became a special friend. Peggy, you will be missed and while you are gone, you will not be forgotten. To Rod and family, deepest condolences.
