Born in Brockton, MA, on December 23, 1923, and died in Victoria, BC, on September 23, 2008. . Survived by her sister Patricia of Baie d’Urfe, QC (husband Lloyd Rogers); nephew Jonathan Rogers and family of Ottawa, ON; niece Janet Rogers and family of Delta, BC; niece Alice Rogers of Burns Lake, BC.
Served in the CWAC in Canada and England in WWII. After qualifying as a librarian she worked at the Calgary Public Library and then as head of the North Central Branch of the BC Public Library Commission in Prince George. Retired to Victoria in 1993.
