Ralph Paladini died peacefully in the ICU at RJH surrounded by his family. Born in Dundee, Scotland in 1932, served in the British Army then married Audrey (2006) in 1954. They moved to LA in 1958 and then to Canada in 1971 to be a dental technician. He is survived by his 4 children; Ian, Alan, Stacy and Alison, 4 grandchildren; Justin, Aaron, Payton and Porsha, brother-in-laws; Norm (Carol) and Alexander Dickson. Our dad was our hero and as his kids we hope we have 1/4 of his strength. We are so proud of him. He will be greatly missed by many. He was very involved in his kids endeavours and a great supporter of the Victoria Irish Dancers and the VI Raiders where his grandsons play. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the BC Cancer Society, Fight Cancer, Livestrong. We’ll miss you Champ! We love you so much! You are the man Ralph.

    Stacy,

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. These are tough times but you will make it. My Mum has Alzheimer’s, so it feels like I lost her years ago. It’s not the same thing, I know, but I still grieve for her.

Thinking of you during these hard times.

    Warm regards,
    Deb Newman

    Peace,

So thankful for the fun memories growing up of time spent together as family! Some of my favorite childhood memories are when we were all together….cousins and aunts and uncles, granny and granda!! Fun times! Even though there were many miles between us, we were close in heart and mind. My mom and dad loved Aunt Audrey and Uncle Ralph so dearly! I don’t think anyone could make my dad laugh like Uncle Ralph!! 🙂
We are sorry for your loss, sweet cousins, and you will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days to come! Much love from all of us! xo

Thank you to Ralph for reminding us often that while hard work is needed to be successful, it’s worth nothing if we don’t have great fun along the way.
