René Robert Stanley Morrell was born on April 3, 1925. He passed away on September 2, 2016 at 1:10pm. He is survived by his wife Annabella; children Rick, Andree and 2 grandchildren.
He worked for the UN for more than 30 years serving at ICAO, IAEO, UNDP, UNESCO AND FAO. He is a member of AFICS of the UN.
Visitation and Prayers will be offered at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Visitation will start at 6pm, prayers at 7pm, with a reception to follow. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s Cathedral at Blanshard and View Streets on Thursday, September 8, at 12 noon, with interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens in Colwood.
