EVANS Rita Bettye – Peacefully on April 21, 2010 in Victoria in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. E.H. Evans, she leaves her son, James (Gail); two grandchildren, Nigel (Cherie) and Brie; one great-granddaughter, Nola and her little brother, soon to arrive; also her extended family in England. We wish to thank the staff of Mt. Edwards Court for their loving care. She loved you all. Our thanks also to Dr. Luckhurst for being there for Bettye. A special thank you to Bev for your friendship. Beverly Glen So sorry for your loss. You never get over the loss of a Mother, Grandmother or Great-Grandmother. Bettye was a special lady and I am blessed to have been able to call her my friend. She will certainly be missed and I will always cherish the time we shared.
I also wanted to thank you very much for your kind words.
We were so sorry to learn of Bette’s passing. We will always remember her warmth & hospitality. No one could make a Trifle like Bette. Many a pleasant hour was spent at her home. She will remain in our thoughts & prayers.
