It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear brother, uncle, and friend, Bob (Bobby) Hinds. Bob passed away peacefully at the Royal Jubilee Hospital on May 27, 2025.
Bob is predeceased by both of his parents, Norm and Joyce Hinds. He is survived by his loving sister Cheryl and his brother Gord; as well as his nieces, Jessica, Jennifer, Rachel, and Jadelyn; his nephew, Brian; his great nieces, Bailey and Lily; and his great nephew, Arlo. He also leaves his dear friend, Brian, whose friendship was forged in high school through a love of track and field, that remained strong until his passing.
The family will be holding a small Graveside Service at Hatley Memorial Gardens, 2050 Sooke Road, Victoria, BC, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 1:00pm. You are encouraged to join with them to pay your final respects.
Bob’s family would like to thank the hospital staff for their understanding and compassion for Bob during his stay.

So very sorry for your loss and sad to hear of the passing of Bob (Bobby). I played slow-pitch, bowled at Mayfair and sometimes golfed with him. He often mentioned his family when we were together. He was a kind person and loved his dog Nike very much.
