February 24, 1959 – December 20, 2012.
Born in Langley, BC., Bob leaves his loving supportive wife, Myrna; son, Jesse (Tasha); daughter, Ashley; stepson, Kobey; parents, Al and Ann Crawford; sisters, Cathy (Greg), Patti (Hank), Cindy, and their families. He also leaves behind good friends, Terry, Ron and the morning group at Tim Horton’s.
Bob was an extremely hard working talented guy that loved putting his master of all trades talent to good use by helping out all his friends and family. When he wasn’t falling trees, developing lots or building his kid’s house he could be found with a camera in hand chasing the cat, or Myrna on one of their amazing trips in a far off land. Bob was always a bushrat at heart. When he wasn’t working outdoors he could be found dirt biking, gold panning, hunting or camping in their mansion on wheels.
We lost someone so dear to us, that it is hard to imagine our lives without his presence. So it is said, “with great love comes great pain.” Bob still had so much he wanted to do and left us so suddenly…but he would say to us, “I am well.”
A celebration of Bob’s life will be at THE SHERATON HOTEL, 829 McCallum Rd., on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.

Dear Myrna, I wish I was at home to help you through this shockingly sad time. My prayers are with you my friend. I will call as soon as I get home either Jan 11 or 14th not sure if I will drive or fly. Take care girl know your friends will be there to support your terrible Loss
Myrna and family. I am shocked and saddened at Bob’s passing. I remember you and Bob helping a young boy; a boy who really needed the help at the time. I also fondly remember Bob swinging around the trees in my back yard with a chainsaw in one hand and the end of the rope in the other. He did a great job of reaching away out to do the perfect trimming and topping job. He liked to do things well! His passing is a great loss. My deepest condolences.
We were shocked and deeply saddened today when we read of Bob’s passing in the paper.
The Crawfords lived across the street from us for many years (our formidable ones!) and we all grew up together. The Crawford family provided a spirit of fun and laughter on our cul de sac during the 70’s in an otherwise peaceful neighbourhood!
Too many memories to post but I will always remember Bob as a gentle soul with a wicked sense of humour! Twinkely eyes and a big grin. He was the closest I ever came to having a brother. Thank you Bob – and all the family! Your friendship made my Wonder Years!

Dear Myrna,
I was very stunned to learn about the sudden death of your beloved Bob. I still cannot believe that he died so young and unexpectedly. I will treasure the all too brief memories of him I will miss his smiling face and witty sense of humour and great generousity of himself and his time. Please accept my sincere condolences.
May he rest in peace — my love and sympathy to you and your family.
Bob is a amazing man, I looked up to him with respect, trust and admiration,. It came as a shock to myself, tanya and dylan when the event unfolded. But rest assured he is not gone,Everyone who had the enjoyment of knowing a great man and a caring person can honestly say that no matter what he did, how he did it, You can say that he did it “Very well’. He is a man of his word, and he always gave and NEVER asked in return, any man who ever knew BOB could take a lesson from his teachings, and his character a very fine gentleman.I myself will feel a void but i also know that if he”s where i think he is ,The person in charge had better get ready to do it better then BOB. You are a man i can proudly say . THANK YOU MY FRIEND,BUT YOUR NOT GONE YOU LIVE IN EVERY PERSON YOU TOUCHED. Even my son Dylan
Thank You my friend.
