My dear friend Betty and family….
Again I want to send you all my condolences on the passing of your beloved husband and father. Just having lost my husband recently, I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one who has been in your lives for so long. Keep the good memories of him forever in your hearts and in time they will help to lessen the grief I know you must all be feeling right now.
    Sincerely, Joan

Hi Charlie….I was sad to hear of the passing of your father. I never knew him but would watch from afar. I remember him coming into the office as you were just starting your career and his proud gestures. I watched him in his yard on his little chair over the last years gardening…he seemed to be a man with determination. You will miss him. Please pass our sympathies on to your mother.
    Regards…Judi and Jerry
