Passed away peacefully at VGH on February 19, 2016. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he started his career in passenger services with the Canadian Pacific Railway and worked in Portage la Prairie, Banff, Victoria and Vancouver, ending with the marine division, BC Coastal Steamship Services, in Vancouver. He often spoke fondly of the many interesting people he met throughout his career and the times he enjoyed with family and friends in Hawaii throughout the years.
He will be missed by his wife of 65 years, Ida “Cris” and daughter, Janet (Jim), friends and family.
