Hi Garnette and Leigh Ann. Our Condolences to you on your Moms passing. I don’t know if you will remember the Chalmers’ that lived next to you on Cornwall. We remember you and your Mom. Of course your Mom was always Mrs. Blackie to us as we were young at the time we met your Mom. She was a wonderful lady and a great neighbour. I lost my parents back in 1990 & 96.
We are sorry for your loss.

Garnette and Leigh Ann,I was shocked to hear of your Mom’s passing. As you may recall we were good friends in the early years when we lived side by side in the duplex on Fair St then you moved to Cornwall St. Do you remember the fun times when we would go up to Beach Acres for the Spring break and rent one of those little cabins on the beach? (Two single Moms and our children). She was lots of fun with a great sense of humour; and a hard worker at a time when things were not going easy for her.

    Take care, Joy

  • Edith Harper ( JOhnstone

I will remember Bobbie as a good friend and a caring and dedicated nurse from our class of 1963 at the Jubilee. We did share an flat along with Betty Barton for a short time after graduation. She will never be forgotten. Her ability to strive and deal with adversities through humor and support for others will be remembered. Even though the years may have left contact few and far between she will be held in my heart always. My condolences to all of her family.
