KERR, Roy Rayner – It is with sadness the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of Roy Rayner Kerr at the Lodge at Broadmead, Victoria, BC on January 12, 2006. Roy was born August 13, 1926 in Smithers, BC. Predeceased by his first wife, Nancy in 1978. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Hilda; and three children, Suzanne (Mike) of Maple Ridge, Debi (Dewis) of Victoria and Richard (Ann) of Penticton; one granddaughter and six grandsons. He is also remembered by his loving sister, Edna; niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Roy was a member of the Canadian Merchant Marines during World War II and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Public Service Branch #127. For many years, Roy was an owner/operator of Bluebird Cabs of Victoria and was active in the bowling community and inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Lodge at Broadmead for Dad?s care over the past years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

A funeral service will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL ,Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the Graham & Torrey McCall Family Centre.
