I met Russ in the 1950’s @ Royal Oak school and we knew each other up into the mid 60’s. I have some fond and vivid memories of Russ in school, in boy scouts and driving his VW bug crammed with people, After many years of not seeing him and while visiting Victoria I ran into him in the Red Lion hotel in what turned out to be his stag party on the eve of his marriage. I never saw Russ again. I’m sorry to hear he has passed. He was an interesting individual and for an important time in my life he was my friend.
