MORTON, Ruth (June 16, 1925-September 19, 2011) passed away in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by her husband Ernie and sons Jerry and Patrick. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Bill (Jan), Ron (Emily), Tod (Veronica), Michael (Judy); daughter-in-law Adele (Rick); grandchildren Bob, Nancy, Anne, Tracy, Jerry, Steven, Michelle, Shane, Nick, Lisa, Amanda, Chris, Andrew, Becky; great grandchildren Devon, Portcia, James, Ashley, Jace, Aayla; sister Eva; great-grandchildren Herby, Clarence, Robert, Michelle, Eric, Willow, and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was the sweetest and most angelic lady who easily made friends with everyone. She will be sorrowfully missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. It brings us all comfort to know that our beloved Mother and Grandmother will now finally be reunited with the love of her life and her two sons. Heaven will be a brighter place with her there. Mom you will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held at EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, 2121 Cedar Hill X Road on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

Lorrayne Breen (nee Gilpin) Memories of Aunt Ruth would be her smile, bubbly personality and positive attitude even when she was not feeling well. I appreciated her love and compassion. I will miss her cheery voice when we visited by phone. Aunt Ruth will be greatly missed even if I haven’t seen her in many years. She was a special Aunt.

David and Janice LeGresley Our condolences to the family. Aunt Ruth was a special aunt to me. She was always happy and generous. She was willing to share her musical talent with me. She made me feel at home when I came out west for a stay. I only wish I could have spent more time with her these last years. I know she will be greatly missed by the family. Cherish the time you had with her and the memories of a great woman.
