It is with a great sense of loss that we announce the death of our much-loved mother and grandmother, beloved wife of Alex (d. 2008). Her children Jonathan and June were with her alongside friends and family holding her in their hearts both here and overseas.
She is remembered so fondly by Jonathan (Carolyn), June (Blair), grandchildren Cody, Grace and Dani (and their mother Nina), Ned and Alex.
Sincere thanks to Sidney Seniors carers, GP Dr. L. Wilson, Dr. A. Kwasnica and staff at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saanich Peninsula Hospital and Healthcare Foundation.
A Celebration of Life with reception to follow will take place Saturday July 5, 2025 at 2:00pm at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 9691 Fourth Street, Sidney, BC.

This is truly the end of an era. For our generation (the kids) looking on, the Moffoots, MacKinnons, Cooks, and our parents spent so many happy times together – whether it was dinners, outings or the regular-as-clockwork coffee klatches.
And, in particular, after our dad passed away in 1995, Mrs. Moffoot (ed note: when we became adults, she wanted us to call her Ruth – yeah, not going to happen for some of us!) was such a wonderful friend and support to our mum. For that, she will always be remembered with great love and thanks.
To Jonathan, June and their families, all our love and support as you cherish the memories of a truly wonderful lady.
