Born December 13, 1921 in Edmondstown, Llantrisant, South Wales died January 5, 2011 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by her parents and siblings, Jean is survived by her sister-in-law, Oriole Wicks and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lived a life of service to others. Special thanks to the staff at Gorge Hospital.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 902A Caledonia Avenue, Victoria, BC V8T 1E8 or the SPCA, 3150 Napier Lane, Victoria, BC V8T 4V5. We will miss seeing Jean and her little white dog walking down Victor Street; how Jean loved her dogs, all of them.
