Passed away at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, BC on July 24, 2010 in her 86th year. She was born in Toronto on August 26, 1924 and has lived in Victoria since 1980. Sally is survived by her daughter Mary, son-in-law Bill Graham, granddaughter Robin Kent, sister Judy Ridout, and granddog Jazz; predeceased by her son Jim in 1982, sister Barbara in 2002, and husband Sandy in 2005. She was a graduate of Bishop Strachan School and the University of Toronto (occupational therapy). She was a long time member of the Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club and of Uplands Golf Club in Victoria, BC where she was Ladies’ Captain 1990-91.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held in Victoria at Uplands Golf Club on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Interment will take place in Toronto at a later date. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

My world is full of good intentions. I had so wanted to be there in Toronto with you all (tomorrow ( Friday) , but circumstances have intervened.
I have been having severe back problems in the past two weeks or so and just this morning, while being treated, have been advised by my Chiropractor not to make the drive down there and back. at this time.
As I am sure you know, your Mom was one of my favourite people in the whole world. Although we were not contemporaries, it didn’t matter. We could talk about anything……….and did. She mentored me in my golf over several years and our friendship grew out of that. My late husband, Doug, was also crazy about her and loved her as I did..She was a loving and lovely lady whose sense of humour and generosity of spirit sets a fine example. Most of all I think, it was
her wonderful, hearty laugh over some shared story or circumstance, which will stay with me.I will miss knowing that she is not there anymore but, weren’t we lucky to have had her in our lives!
Mary, my deep condolences and fondest thoughts are with you and your family.

Patsy and Dick McLaughlin Dear Mary: Thank you so much for your call. We have been watching the G&M for the date of Sally’s memorial as we certainly wanted to attend. Sadly the date conflicts with a family gathering that we have to attend and can not change.
We are sorry we can not attend Sally’s life celebration in Toronto and share with you our many fond remembrances of a wonderful person and dear friend.
