Sarjit passed away suddenly and peacefully in the hospital in Victoria. She was employed at the Hudson Bay starting in 1956 and in the early 70’s joined Woodward’s at Mayfair. Sarjit and Abby enjoyed travel, activities at the Oak Bay Rec Center and the Sikh Temple. Her greatest joy was her family, grandchildren and her many friends. Sarjit is survived by her husband, Abby and her daughters, Nina and Shindy, their husbands, John and Bruce and two grandsons, Soren and Jorian. Her family would like to thank her doctors for the wonderful care and kind attention to Sarjit: Dr. Melowsky, Dr. Mawdsley and Dr. Gantz as well as Dr. Walton and the Nurses at the Patient Care Center of the Royal Jubilee. Memorial tributes can be made in Sarjit’s honor to the Kidney Foundation. Sarjit was strong and determined woman, devoted to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Please pay your condolences at the Sikh Temple, 1210 Topaz Street, following the Prayer Service/Sidharan Paath on Friday, April 20th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
