TANNER Stanley Charles, WWII Veteran, Acting Lt. Colonel (Retired) – Bright as a penny to the end, and with a V for Victory sign, in his 100th year, Stan slipped peacefully away on May 6, 2004 in Victoria, BC. Born on May 17, 1904 in London, England. Predeceased by his wife, Clarice (February 1992) and his sisters, Kate, Maude and Doris. Stan will be lovingly missed by his children, Cheryl, Don (Julie), Elaine and Bob; and his beloved sister, Olive (Lewis).
