Passed away peacefully in his home at the Cridge Centre in Victoria on April 12, 2016. Born in Rosendael, France on November 18, 1927, he grew up in the U.K. and though he moved to Canada in 1956, England was always close to his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Marja; his children, Christina (Wayne), Suzanne, Catharina (Tim), Stephen, Stanley (Nancy), David; 13 grandchildren, Liisa, Hanna, Chrystal, Bryan, Paul, Rebekah, William, Melissa; Leila, Cara, Annessa; Ben and Andrea and 10 great-grandchildren, Austin, Abigail, Paavo, Brooklynne; Aiden, Sydney, Danny, Marcus; Summer and Cassidy.
A Memorial service and reception will be held at McCall’s Downtown, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, on Sunday, April 17th at 1:00 p.m.
