Steven Heiti Past passed away on February 25, 2026, in Victoria, BC.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Arielle, and son-in-law, Josh; his cherished grandchildren, Avery, Ryan, and Aria; his sister, Angela, and her husband, Mike; his Aunt Paddy; and his cousin, Theo. Steven was proud of his family, and his greatest joy in later years was spending time with his grandchildren, whose laughter and milestones meant the world to him.

Steven attended Brentwood College School, where he developed a lifelong love of sports. Those years shaped his competitive spirit and created friendships and memories he carried with him throughout his life.

Steven will be remembered for his love of family, sense of humour and appreciation of the finer things in life. His charm, stories, and steady support will be deeply missed.

A private service will be held for immediate family.

Knew Steve for many years but sadly lost touch over the years. A generous man who treasured friendships. Always up for a laugh. He knew the words to every Beatles song ever written. My memories of him will always be in my heart.
All the best to the family.

I knew Steve during our high school days. He was always high energy, had a great sense of humour and was a lot of fun to hang out with. Although we lost touch over the years, I have many fond memories of that time. My thoughts are with the family.

  • Andy Swainson

I was sad to hear of Steve’s passing. Although it has been many years since our paths crossed, I will not forget what a big heart he had and the friendship we shared.

    My condolences to the family.

    Golden slumbers my friend.

I will remember his birthday lunch at The Chalet two summers ago when he was in good form and well enough to celebrate.
    Good memories. But too few.

    To Steve:
“May the road rise to meet you and may the wind always be at your back…..”
