Our condolences to the Banner family. Steve will truly be missed by many. He was an inspiration to us all. I will never forget that smile. Even when he was going through all this, he would be so strong for everyone. Proud to call him friend.
Steven will always be remembered as one the most talented and capable members in a very remarkable family…….while I am far away my heart is suffering the loss with all his friends and family in his beloved Sooke.
I’m so very sorry for the loss of a true Sooke Son, & Brother.
Growing up in Sooke I know I’m not the only one to have looked up to the guy with the hot rods and fishing boat.
Skinny lived what it is to be a Sooke man.
See you again in paradise.

Steve.
My first memory of you was when I was about 8 or so playing road hockey with Kenny and Greg at their house and this crazy orange car with a loud whine came down the hill, your 1970 Roadrunner, 440, blower!
What a beast of a car!
You always had a great story. I always left Bob’s Repair with a laugh and a smile.
You will be sorely missed, Skinny.
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Banner Family. xo
