It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Fran Steffan on Sunday February 26, 2012. Mom has gone to where she wanted to be, beside her husband Jim forever who predeceased her in October; and her siblings, Cora and Tommy; and friend, Gerry. Fran will be dearly missed by her sons, John (Lysa), Tony (Renita); and Rhonda of Nanaimo; twin sister, Shirley (Jim) of Kingston, Ont., and younger sister, Barbara (Ellis) of St John, NB. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Natysha, Tyler, Jared, and Nick. Fran was loved by everyone she touched and will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Branch #91 (Langford), 761 Station Avenue on Friday, March 30th, from 1 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Lung Association in Fran’s name would be appreciated.
