I was saddened to learn that Dale had died. I met her through the Oak Bay Art Club, where one could be sure to be greeted with a warm smile from Dale. Her floral watercolour paintings were consistently lovely, and were sure to sell at our art shows, and I have several recipes of hers for her wonderful squares she made for the refreshment table. Indeed Dale had a generous heart, and has surely left behind many kindly memories.

I knew Dale through the OakBay Art Club. She was such a good painter. She knew Colours and painted what she loved. Her Paintings always sold and I remember being invited to her home ‘on the hill’ as I thought of the curve of her street.
Dale was a quiet lovely person – her own self. She influenced people and made a difference to others lives.
I was pleased to know her.

While Dale has left us with fond memories of her many contributions to the Oak Bay Art Club, her superb art will live on to tell of a gracious lady to all who have known her as a friend.

I cherished the times that I shared with Dale at OBAC. She was an inspiration to us all with her exquisite watercolours. She remained an active member and shared so many of our milestones. The last time I saw her she was happily shopping at Hillside Mall having walked from her home with the aid of her walker. Dale had a wonderful spirit and encouraged us all. We shall miss her!

I was so sorry to read of Dale’s death, I went to school with her at Mt. Newton although I was older. Dale and her mother would attend dinners at our mutual friends, Pat and Lawrence Hafer’s.
And I remember you Barbara when we both worked at Mc and Mc’s.
Last time I saw you was at a lunch at Gorge Vale.
Joyce Marshall, nee Andrew. I was an Ardmore member.
