Teresa went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2018 at the age of 79. She was born in San Juan de Dios de Desamparados, Costa Rica, just outside of the capital of San Jose. Maria Teresa Angela Knudson (nee Mora Garro) was born a Christmas Baby on December 24, 1938. Her death follows that of her husband, Loran M. Knudson and her son, Loran F. Knudson. She is survived by her loving family: Murray A. Knudson of Victoria, Miguel A. Knudson of Vancouver, Ronald R. Knudson of Victoria, Edward J. Knudson of Vancouver, Damaris M. Galhon (nee Knudson), her husband Mandeep Galhon and their sons Tyson and Isaiah, all of Victoria, BC.
Teresa was a Professional Dress Maker and Stylist. She had a knack for making her customers look great in their clothes. Her clientele range was vast, including the wives of dignitaries and professional performers. She was a lady of class, grace, and elegance, always turning heads when she made an entrance. Teresa was an excellent cook and people enjoyed coming over when she entertained. She loved to travel and enjoyed other cultures. She had the good fortune of visiting Japan, Italy and a few other countries in her journeys.
Her biggest love was her family. She had an infectious smile and always made sure that the family had a strong bond and felt her love. Teresa was a true friend and if you were lucky enough to know her or call her a friend, you too felt her warmth and love. She will be missed by all those whose life she graced.
Prayer Service and Visitation will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9: 00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, 2060 Haultain Street on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 with Father Ian Stuart officiating. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or a Donation to the B.C. Cancer Foundation in Teresa’s memory would be appreciated.

What can I say, she was the most wonderful mother a daughter could have. I couldn’t tell you what she has taught me and if I could only do a few of the many talents she had I would be ever so lucky. A beautiful woman inside and out! I will miss her soft skin, her cuddles, her laugh and her amazing cooking.
