  1. Dear Marni and Family,

    I was saddened to read about Tom’s passing. I worked with him at Oak Bay Rec Centre many years ago and thought he was a very nice and funny guy. It was so much fun working with him! I am thinking of you and your family. I am very sorry for your loss.

  2. Very sad news. We all loved Tom so I cannot imagine the sadness in the hearts of all his family. I will always remember the fun we had in high school and the reunions that followed. I hope all the outpouring of love and positive comments give all the family strength in this difficult time. RIP Tom. Another angel above.

    I am so sorry to hear the news. If you need anything you know you only have to call. You and Tom where parents we enjoyed having around and where good to us, so please let us help you out if you need it. Tom was a great dad and we will all tell his story to the kids so that they too will remember him forever in their hearts.

He was hard working and willing to do whatever it took to provide for his family. He was a special person and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  7. Dear Marni,

    I was deeply saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. It’s hard to find words to do justice to the pain you and the kids must be feeling right now. I hope you are surrounded by friends and family to help you through this difficult time.
    Time flies by so fast — it seems like yesterday that you were hosting the hockey team for a BBQ at your house. I miss those days, and seeing Tom every week. He was a joy to be around. A very nice and earnest guy. He will be greatly missed by many I’m sure. I’m so sorry for your loss.

  8. Dear Marni,

  9. Dear Marni;
    I’m at a loss for words, for although we only knew Tom for a short period of time he made a huge impression on everyone around him. I always looked forward to our frequent late night conversations, where we discussed many ‘scholarly’ issues. During this time, Tom would always came back to the topic of family and would speak highly of how you and the kids were doing. Without doubt, Tom would always look forward with a smile to your nightly call for you all meant the world to him.
    Our thoughts are with you,

  10. Dear Marni
    I am so sorry for your loss – Even though I only knew Tom for a very short time he made a big impression. I feel that he would have become a very instrumental part of our City team. He was a repected in his knowlege for the way the facility should run and his management skills to make it happen. Hold tight to your family as he often told stories about his sons – and missed them greatly while working in Estevan.
    My prayers are with you.

    Judy Pilloud
