I am saddened to hear the news. Tom was an honourable man. Tom and my father, George Hurst served together in the Queens Own many years ago and Tom paid tribute at his service when he passed. So many good men, like Tom have left us. This country is a better place because of their sacrifices.
When I was born, I was given my middle name , Martin, after Tom. An honour and representative of the impact he had on his friends. I will remember him fondly and be reminded by my middle initial.
    Rest easy sir.

    This is sad news.

I always enjoyed running into Tom. Whether at is garage or at the hockey rink I greatly enjoyed his take on life, work and people. You could always count on Tom to have an honest opinion and he could always back it up with a wealth of knowledge and experience. He was a man that could be trusted.

Sincere condolences to Tom Jr (a chip off the old block as it were) and the rest of the family. Senior will be missed.
