So this is who I am
And this is all I know
And I must choose to live
For all that I can give
The spark that makes the power growBut I will stand for one dream if I can
Symbol of my faith in who I am
But you are my onlyAnd I must follow on the road that lies ahead
I won’t let my heart control my head
But you are my onlyAnd we don’t say goodbye
We don’t say goodbye
And I know what I’ve got to be…Immortality
I make my journey through eternity
I keep the memory of you and me
InsideFulfill your destiny
It’s there within the child
My storm will never end
My fate is on the wind
The king of hearts
The joker’s wildWe don’t say goodbye
We don’t say goodbye
I’ll make them all remember meCause I have found the dream that must come true
Every ounce of me must see it through
But you are my onlyI’m sorry I don’t have the role for love to play
Hand over my heart I’ll find my way
I will make them give to me…Immortality
There is a vision and a fire in me
I keep the memory of you and me
InsideAnd we don’t say goodbye
We don’t say goodbyeIn all my love for you
And what else we may doWe don’t say goodbye…

Wanda Prychitko (nee Whiting) When I think of growing up on Kingston Crescent, there are some personalities that stand out. Molla Thomassen was definitely one-of-a-kind. I loved her laugh and the way everyone felt welcome around her. We all looked forward to vinetarte at Christmastime, and Mrs. Thomassen never let us down. Our whole family sends special thoughts and prayers to the Thomassen clan, and I know she and Dorris are enjoying a round of bridge up there.

Rob Tisdale For Ole and the whole Thomassen family. Reading the Obituary brought a rush of memories of Kingston Row, sandbagging, building and rebuilding stuff. I remember ” Mrs. Thomassen” very clearly, we would not dare use a first name of a parent in those days! She was one of the very dedicated mothers who ran the house and kept all the kids safe and sound. She may be gone in body however I am sure her spirit will continue living in all those she was close to.

Pat (Woolner) Harman I’m at Victoria Beach for the summer and found the notice of your mum’s passing, and wanted to send my condolences.
Your mum was such a force – I remember her patience and good humor dealing with that wonderful brood of children she raised. I’ve never forgotten the weekly loaf of bread that she let Arne bring to me – the best bread ever!! A generous gift given cheerfully. And how she’d laugh at the bunch of you, kind of shaking her head but full of love for you all.
The death of a mother has a profound effect. It leaves a void unlike any other, but I know that you’ll comfort each other in this sad time, and be comforted by the memories you have of your lovely mother.
Fondly,
Pat
