Vince was the epitome of a gentle soul. He was always controlled, able to stay positive, interested in all those connected to him in any way and grateful for all that he was blessed with. He was a giver who was thrilled to share whatever he could. I have known Vince as Mr. Fantillo, Vincenzo, Vince, and Nono for all my 6 years with the renal unit and never once did he ever complain of having to deal with kidney disease but actually was appreciative of the extra years of life hemodialysis offered him. It was a joy to share my grandaughter tales with him. The smiles her fotos brought to him were warm and genuine. I will miss those smiles, his little jokes, and his caring presence in the unit. It has been an honour and a joy being one of his nurses and just want you to know, once again, how very special your dad was to me.
