Passed away peacefully in Duncan, BC just before her 85th Birthday.

Vi was born in Port Reeve, Saskatchewan. She was the youngest of 10 children and being the youngest made her strong minded and independent.

She met and married Ronald S. Sharpe in 1954 and moved to Victoria, where they raised 4 children together.

After Ron passed away in 1979, Vi met and married Roderick MacLeod in 1988. They enjoyed many happy years together until Rod passed away in 2005.

Vi was very active and loved her sports. She played high level women’s baseball for many years and enjoyed a lifetime of curling. Vi loved her gardens, both vegetable and flower. If she wasn’t curling, you could always find her in one of her beloved gardens.

Vi is predeceased by her husbands, Ron and Rod, and her eldest son, Shawn (in 2009).

Vi loved her family immensely. Left to mourn her passing are her surviving children, Ron (Lisa) Sharpe, Robert Sharpe, Lisa (Sam) Frizzel; her 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; numerous Nieces, Nephews, and friends. As well a very special relationship with her Sister-in-Law of over 60 years, Pat.

She is once again with all her siblings and I am sure they are all reminiscing about the good old days.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at McCall Gardens Sequoia Centre, 4665 Falaise Drive with burial at Royal Oak Burial Park. Following, there will be a reception at McCall Gardens Sequoia Centre.

We love you Gmac, you will be missed dearly. Xo

Ron, Robert, Lisa & Families: our sincere sympathies on your loss. She was truly a great lady.
Aunt Vi came to visit my Father when he was in Wascana rehab in Regina a few months before he died. They had a great visit, and she was so cheerful and full of great stories about her and my Dad. She told one about persuading Dad to let her drive the grain truck and she was too short to manage the clutch and drove the truck into the grainery. She said Dad took the blame for that one, but that grandpa was looking at bother of them very suspiciously and kept saying he did not understand how Walter could have done that.
