Gordon William Valentine Birnie Margaret and I send you all our very sincere condolences on the passing of Bunty. Distance has meant we haven’t seen much of my Aunt over the years but she has always occupied a special place in the family. My Mother, now 96, was the main point of contact and passed on any news. We all have particularly fond memories of our big clan gathering in Pitlochry a few years ago. Bunty was in sparkling form and her interest and warmth towards all who were there will remain an abiding memory. With much love from Gordon, Margaret, Neil, Claire and their son Harris, Rona and Toby and their children – Lewis, Sophia and Lucia

robert Harvey If she employed as a secretary to the Headmaster at University School in Victoria, I remember her as a young boy at the school in the early 40s: strangely as I directing my mind to a school photo to recall the names of teaching staff and fellow students, the name of Violet McConaghy, the Headmaster’s secretary, flashed in my mind as the ideal young woman>All the boys were crazy about her.

Gage Family We have many fond memories of Bunty and your family, especially after our arrival in Canada in 1958, when the Watt family welcomed us with open arms, and helped us adjust to Canadian life.
Isn’t it wonderful that your Mom had 100 good years and managed to remain independent during them all.
From,
Doreen, Robert & Susan, Tony & Laura, and Jonathan Gage

Maxine Brook I remember your mother well as a neighbour on Bowker Ave. Your mother and my mother had many a good laugh together (maybe some of those laughs were about us kids). She was a very kind and warm person. I have special memories of her.
My condolences to the famil;y.
