Wally, born in Winnipeg, MB, passed away peacefully on the morning of August 17, 2016 at Victoria General Hospital. Wally worked for over 30 years in the Canadian Naval Auxiliary. He had travelled to many parts of this world, and always had time to sit, talk and laugh.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Wally was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor; and is survived by his son, James (Jamie); daughter-in-law, Angie; step-sons, Alexander Lacey and Ronald Lacy; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
We’d like to thank the nurses and staff of VGH for all the love and care they gave him during his stay. “There are some things that you can not do to thank the nurses for everything they did.”
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
