My heartfelt condolences for the passing of Warner. I knew him on two of my postings to the Victoria Store; 1966 through 1972 and again 1978 through to my retirement in 1989. I always enjoyed our chats about a variety of topics. I feel most fortunate to have had him as a friend. I’m sure these feelings abound in all the Eatonians who knew him.

Our deepest condolences to you Margaret and the family for the sad loss of a wonderful man. Our memories of Warner will remain with us and we will remember his wonderful humour and kindness always. He truly believed in the value of family and was one of the most sincere people we have known. He will remain a treasure in our hearts forever.

I am going to miss my friend who sat behind me each Sunday morning and

church kitchen. My prayers and love go out to the family at this time.

Warner was such a wonderful friend of mom and dad’s. So many great memories of trips to Tsa-Kwa-Luton, New Year’s Eve dinners with the Parry’s and all the get togethers in between. Lovely man!!

Warner Fyfe hired me at Eaton’s in 1976. He was a great boss – very kind and considerate. I appreciated that he was so accommodating in allowing me to work around my classes. He also had a good sense of humour! My condolences go out to his family.

Margaret and family, we were sorry to hear of Warner’s passing. We fondly remember our days as neighbours on Irma St. Often friends would gather for a chat on warm summer evenings in front of your home. We loved watching your grandchildren play hide and seek while running round and round the bush in the front yard. Patches and Cashew are also happy memories. We send our love to you at this difficult time.

  • Norm and Ruth Miller, Abbotsford, BC.

Our sorrow and condolences to Margaret, Richard, Gordon, Murray and Brent and their families at the passing of a dynamic and wonderful husband/father, who loved and cared for all his nieces and nephews as much as his own family. We are grateful for the ways he included the families of his own siblings into their own family network. He has come from a family that always sought to love, care and forgive, a family that has always been closely bonded together. He and his family were people of faith, with a deep love for our Lord Jesus. He loved his church (Immanuel Baptist in Victoria) and the family of God he was a part of. He will be so missed, but he is now with our Lord – in his heavenly home. Psalm 116:15 . . . “Blessed in the sight of the Lord is the death of His beloved.” We extend to you our love and prayers . . . Pastor Norm & Ruth Miller; Karen & Doug Cook; Garth & Lisa, Owen, Wes & Nyah Miller.
