Born in Edmonton, Alberta and died in Victoria, British Columbia. His basic schooling was in Wainwright, Alberta, where his parents, John and Rita, ran the local dairy. Survived by one brother, Robert and his wife, Patricia of Cochrane, Alberta and two nieces, Heather and Carla of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by his wife, Elinor in 2015, son, Ian in 1999, and brother, Jackie in 1966.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, Johnson and Vancouver Streets. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

I was saddened to learn of the loss of your brother Harvey and would like to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Although our families have lost touch over the years I have many fond memories of the Davidson family from our years living and attending school in Wainwright. Your father John and my father Doug were boyhood friends and through this friendship our families often enjoyed many special and fun times together during our ‘growing up’ years especially when spending our summers at Clear Lake.
