One could never express properly the passing away of Bill Sharkey.
I love to tell you that he was a most kind, loving Bill. I have enjoyed many a fun evening with Bill and Mary Joan. We have been close friends for over 20 yrs. and then some. Bill was in the Air Force for many years, an Officer and Gentleman. He took very good care of his dear family and they are all missing him so much, just as we are.
We may not be family but the next/closest to as family, that we can get. Gerry played raquet ball with Bill and holds that close to his heart.
Shawn had Bill and Mary Joan to his 21st, birthday, a day we do not forget. And I have loved this gentleman like a brother. A Proud man,
Bill accomplished so many things while he was on this earth. Bill has now gone to the Lord, no pain, no suffering and I know he is Watching over Mary Joan and the family. He is an angel now but really always have been. Bill you are deeply missed, there was only one of you in our lives. Be safe our friend, we all will see you again, in such a special place with our Lord. AMEN

I remember well Bill at Royal Roads as a Senior who didn’t stand by, but was involved and lived life with an intensity that made us all want to do more.

I can only offer my condolences for his loss.

    Sincerely,

    Mary Joan and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I really enjoyed meeting him through the Royal Roads ex-cadets and seeing him at our events. I enjoyed his sense of humour and hearing the stories of his cadet days. My thoughts and best wishes are with you and your family at this time.

    Kind regards,
    Karen Inkster Vance
