Bill died suddenly on May 27, 2011. Born on March 13, 1923 in Rossington, Alberta, Bill started his work life farming at Shoal Creek, Alta. After moving his family to Edmonton in the 50’s he became a Locksmith for the Public School Board. In 1974 Bill and wife Paula moved to Kelowna, B.C. where he went to work for Sun-Rype. In the mid 90’s Bill and Paula retired to Parksville on Vancouver Island where they enjoyed many years prior to settling in Victoria. Bill will be remembered for his honesty, love of fishing, camping, gardening and dedication to his spouse of 67 years, Pauline. Fond memories of Bill will be cherished by his son John Agnew, daughter Afton Wright (Barry), grandchildren Cameron Agnew and Samuel Wright and great grandchildren Alena and Madalin Agnew. He will be greatly missed by many other relatives and friends.
