JOYCE, Winifred Elizabeth, dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with her Lord on April 5, 2013.She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred, on Nov 6, 1998. She leaves her much loved family – daughter Lorraine (Dale) Horita, son Reverend Brian (Cathy), and daughter Marilyn (Bob) Witteveen; nine grandchildren, Diane (Terry), Rachel, Shannon, Derek, Kathleen, Andrew, Steve, Katie and Brian; six  great grandchildren; sister Muriel (Cliff) Orr and two sister-in-laws, Ruth and Shirley. Win was born in Toronto, Ont., moving to Vancouver as a young child with her parents. Except for four years in California, Vancouver was her home until she married in 1950 her life-long companion, Fred. For the next 48 years they lived in Nelson, Kamloops and Victoria.  Music was the great love of Win’s life. She started playing the piano and organ for others at age thirteen and continued for over fifty years. Serving her Lord and her precious family was foremost in her life. Many thanks to Dr. H.L. Domke and the loving staff at the Priory who helped Win live out her last days with dignity.

Graveside service will be held at Royal Oak burial park on Thursday, April 11 at 1pm.  A Celebration of life service will follow at Central Baptist Church, 833 Pandora Ave. at 2:30 pm, with a Tea to follow.  Flowers gratefully declined. Donations can be made to the Gideons.  Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com
