Dear Sharon, Calvin, Emily and family:
We would like to send you our deepest sympathy.
Bernie was such a wonderful and helpful man and good friend to all of us who lived nearby. I will always be greatful when he helped me in the middle of the night and drove me to the hospital when Sarah was born, only 3 minutes after arriving. We will never forget his kindness and cheerful smile.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,
Candace, Peter, Robert and Sarah Linde

Dear Sharon, Calvin and Emily,
We are so sorry to hear of Bernie’s passing and your loss. We will always remember Bernie for his warm and gentle way, his kindness, wonderful sense of humour, intelligence and amazing work ethic. The world will miss a soul like his dearly and so will we. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
The last time Bernie came over he could not stay for coffee since he had to pick up Calvin. We both agreed on “next time” not realizing that ,sometimes there is no next time.
We as a family have great memories of Bernie showing up every weekday at 8.30 for 3 months to help us make the house liveable. Even when everything else fell apart or people did not show, there was always Bernie on time. He was always ready with a smile and some reasurance that everything would be ok.
Our thoughts are with you Sharon, Calvin and Emily in this difficult time. He was a great man and we loved him!
