Brian Holker was born on February 27, 1945. After battling with a respiratory ailment for several months, Brian passed away on the morning of December 23, 2020 peacefully in the comfort of his home overlooking Cadboro Bay. A home Brian had built on a property originally owned by his grandparents in the neighbourhood where he had spent the majority of his life.
Predeceased by his father Lou, mother June and brother Daryl. He is survived by his loving partner of 40 years, Diane Cameron; her daughters Cheryl and Kelly; his daughters Jacquelyn and Jeannine and their children Chai, Maeve, Matsya and Dala. Brian was an avid classic car guy. His collection and knowledge were well known and respected in the trade and his passion for restorations and impeccable attention to detail led to being invited to adjudicate and opine on many vintage autos. An original “Cadboro Bay Boy”. Brian will be missed by his many friends and acquaintances.

Diane and family – I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Brian – you were in a new relationship when we did BCNU business. Be kind and patient with yourselves as you deal with these very difficult times, Hugs
Brian will be missed by all who cherished him. My thoughts and prayers are with you Diane, and family. Your friend Sharen Ulmer
One of the Bay Boys, I was so saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. Had the pleasure of visiting a few times to hang out in the garage at the house and talk cars and growing up in the Bay especially the old caddy he got from Christo Tchapperoff. Growing up in Cadboro Bay was an idyllic childhood. Always enjoyed running into Brian and his brother Daryl at the CBS. I will miss him, a really good guy. Thoughts are with his family.
Sending my condolences to you Diane and family on the passing of Brian, your life partner of 40 years.
You took amazing care of Brian and may you now have time to give yourself some kindness.

Dear Diane, I was so sad to hear about Brian’s passing. He surely will be missed in the car
world. Brian and I had the same passion for Cadillacs, as my husband Ed and I collected them. My stepmom was a very dear friend to Brian’s family. This is how we met his family all those years ago.
Well Brian, Put the Pedal to the Metal, Loud and Proud. Let them know you’re coming!
Rest In Peace, “Big”
