It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our son/brother, Darryl, on February 21, 2016. Darryl Harvey Knelsen was born February 8, 1973 in Fort St. James, B.C.
He was predeceased by his father, George Harvey Knelsen and his brother, Dustin Dean Knelsen. Darryl is survived by his mother, Eddy Darlene Ashe; stepmother, Norma Arnold as well as stepparents, Richard and Tess DeMarco.
He leaves behind his five beautiful daughters, his siblings and their families; Stacey, Ryan, Jason, Leanne and David.
He will be remembered for his tattoos (that held such meaning to him), his undying love for Aerosmith, his appreciation for Vietnam and his passion for cooking and fine food!
He had a bold personality and a heart of gold!

My heartfelt condolences for Darryl’s family. I don’t have any fun stories to share but most recently Darryl connected with me on Facebook and we chatted about how much he loved his kids and was so proud of being sober. The world has lost a beautiful soul. See you in another lifetime, my old friend.
Sadly I am unable to attend the service.
Family of Darryl are in my thoughts and heart during this hard time
He will forever be in my heart as I loved him dearly
Much love hugs
