Didier has been, since the early 90s at UVic Continuing Studies and in cabaret evenings, a musical partner and a parler partner with whom I always practised my French. I will deeply miss these very special connections but thank Didier for taking the time to make them happen. I will never forget our last singsong together recently…..the joy and spark still very present in Didier’s eyes. Un vrai cadeau! Love and peace to his wife Diane and daughter Adèle…lovely to meet his brother Bertrand and sister Elisabeth, too!
To the family of Didier – so sorry to hear of his passing. I always enjoyed bumping into him on campus even to just to say hi. I remember working with him in Continuing Studies many years ago and always remember his kind and gentle nature. My sincere condolences to you all at this difficult time.
Dear Diane and Adele- we are so sorry to hear the sad news about Didier. We are in Australia and learned of this through Lynn. We are thinking of you at this difficult time and hope family and friends comfort you right now. Thinking of you with sympathy, Carolynn and Victor

Our deepest condolences Diane. You and your family are in our thoughts and in our prayers.
Dear Diane and Adele,
We have fond, happy memories of our times together wth you both and Didier. Though separated by distance our summer visits on the Island always renewed our longtime friendship. Didier’s passing is an immeasurably great loss for you, and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Love and hugs from us both,
Neil and Sharon
