Our Precious Emily passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves her parents, Ross and Jennifer; siblings, Jack and Hannah, as well as Roger and Ann Mundell and brother, Sky, who loved and supported Emily and all of us over Emily’s 14 years. Emily will also be missed by a large extended group of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, caregivers, doctors and nurses. A special thank you to Dr. Barclay and all the nurses at PICU for your love and understanding over the last difficult days.
Emily could light up a room with her unforgettable smile, we miss you so much we ache loly-cakes, but you are now free. xox

Dear Ross, Jenn, Jack & Hannah,
We are holding you close to our hearts as you morn the loss of your dear Emily. Although we only had the pleasure of meeting Emily once we were struck by the joy she brought to the room. It is as though T.C. Ring wrote these words with Emily in mind, “As you danced in the light with joy, love lifted you. As you brushed against this world so gently, you lifted us.”
Love from Gord and Carol
Jim and I are thinking of your family’s loss and our hearts cry with deep sorrow. It is one of the most heart breaking things to do is to loose a child. Knowing she is running free now will make your heart sing, you will be with her always in your hearts.
Thinking of you, Judy and Jim xoxo
My heartfelt thoughts are with you all. What a blessing Emily

Jennifer, Ross, Jack & Hannah,
The world is not the same without Emily in it. Remember that so many people loved her, and are now here for you. Love you, Auntie Penny. xox
Rest in peace, darling Loly. We will miss your smile, your crazy laugh, the way you always got the joke. You were the party girl — the more hubbub with kids and dogs and music and noise, the better…and balloons, as bright and as many as possible! You were truly loved and well cared for by your mom and dad, brother and sister, Ann and Roger and a host of other amazing people. You taught us all so much! I hope you are running free and breathing easy. And for Jen and Ross, Jack and Hannah, I know you will always feel that hole in your heart. You were heroes every day in the way you cared for Emily, she was blessed to be born in your family. I am very proud of you and love you very much. Grandma B.
Jenn, Ross and family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. May you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you.
