To Helen, Gary and the rest of the Fitzpatrick Clan. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
I only met Jimmy twice. Once at Celtic Park with Helen And Gary and Joanne. The other time was at Inverness and although I had only recently met Jimmy he made his way down to my space to make sure I was ok. Fantastic caring man.
Helen It was an honour to meet Jimmy and yourself and family.
Jimmy I will miss your posts which were a real pick me up.
Rest In Eternal Peace My Friend.

So sad to hear of Jimmy’s passing, I was just a wee girl from Scotland that immigrated to Canada in 1980, about the same time the Fitzpatricks came. I have many fond memories of Jimmy. His laughter, his jokes and playing soccer at the back yard bbq’s. I managed to give him a run for his money lols. Jimmy you are forever in my heart.
My thoughts go out to Helen, Gary, Debhora and family.
Love Michelle

Just canny believe that my good friend Jim (Fitzy) is gone. I knew Jim from when we both lived in Glasgow. He was a great guy, kind, generous and full of fun. His one flaw for me was that he supported Glasgow Celtic. He was a great husband to Helen and a wonderful Dad to Deborah and Gary and a very proud Grandpa. I have lots of happy memories of Jim and Helen. It’s very very sad to hear of Jim’s passing but know he is at peace and not suffering.
I’m sure he’ll be keeping an eye on the family from above, and watching over Parkhead with a big smile on his face. I will miss my good friend. Tony and Jim enjoyed a “wee dram” of Balvenie. when he was out there a few years ago.
Stay strong, remember all the happy memories you shared. Thoughts and prayers with all of you today. Love Carol and Tony. xoxoxo
Dear Helen and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jim had a special presence and will be greatly missed. He was a great guy. I am sorry we are out of the country and will miss the Mass for Jim. David and Debbie McCall
Aunty Helen,Deborah,Scott and Girls,Gary and Joanne. Really don’t know how to put this into words but will give it a go, on the many occasions I had the pleasure of being in my Uncle Jims company he was a total gentleman an honor to have as an uncle and will be greatly missed by his wee sister Wilma, me, his neice Kelly and my son Regan. Thoughts are with the rest of my family in Canada at this sad time. I know you will be having a wee grouse whiskey up there with your mum and dad. R.I.P Uncle Jim (Fitzy) xxxx
We will be with you in spirit during mass today ,Helen.
God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Jimmy and Eileen
Jim was a huge part of our lives. Our hearts are heavy with sadness. It is difficult to say goodbye to such a wonderful man. We will miss the laughter and good times but know he is at peace now. We will treasure our happy memories.
Our thoughts are with the family here and in Scotland. Jim, Val, Alanna and Michael.
Dear Helen,
You have both been in our thoughts so very often these past months and so it was with great sadness that we learned of Jim’s recent passing. We always looked forward to and enjoyed a pleasant chat with each of you as we wandered past your RV on the daily walks around the park. We know this journey has not been an easy one and the road ahead will have its bumps. Please know that we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers and if you should ever need an extra ear to listen or shoulder to lean on we are here for you…and would love to see you!
Sending love and positive, healing energy to you and your family,
Penny and Steve Bichard (Weir’s Beach)
